Portugal, due to its geographical position, but also its history, still keeps a strong Atlantic calling.
Its geographical position, integration in the European Union, the network of modern and practical road, rail, ports and airports infrastructures allow the simplified and agile management of the flows of goods between the three continents with Atlantic coast and make Portugal the privileged entry way in the Euro-Atlantic axis.
Portuguese ports annually handle a total cargo above 80 million tons (2.5 million TEU). Arnaud has its two terminals in privileged sites for movement and coordination of the cargo handling through the most important ports.

to 95 destinations and the two main airports (Lisbon and Porto)
are located less than 10 minutes from our cargo terminals.
Arnaud is the first certified IATA agent in Portugal and has been distinguished over recent years with the TOP TAP Cargo award by TAP Air Portugal.
Portugal nowadays has one of the best road infrastructures in the world, according to the annual report of the World Economic Forum. The inter-connection, through Spain, with the remaining countries in Europe, as a part of the Trans-European Transport Network, allows for an optimized circulation of goods between the different countries, in an economical, fast and secure way.

The innovative role of Arnaud is a trademark of its DNA;
so it was the first freight-forwarding agent
to establish itself in Angola after the independence.
We have weekly direct container cargo shipments from Lisbon and Leixoes, with destination to the ports of Luanda, Lobito, Cabinda, Namibe and Soyo, as well as daily departures of air cargo from Portugal. In 2014 only, Arnaud transported c. 6.600 TEU
by sea and more than 2.000 tons by air.
Our team in Angola has the necessary experience and expertise about the Angolan market, and can thus offer integrated, customised and innovative solutions.
Since providing updated information about ongoing procedures is a point of honour in our company, Arnaud Angola is supported by a unit in Portugal - Angola Backoffice -, with employees specializing in the market who monitor operations and inform importers and exporters, since the arrival of ships to Angolan ports through to delivery to the final client.

Main activities/services
In 2013, when we opened in Madrid under our own name, we ensured a strong presence in one of the major economical and logistical centres of Europe.
The inauguration of Arnaud Transitos y Logística SL in Madrid reinforced our bet in internationalization of the Group and contributed to a growth of offer and quality of transport services.
From then on, we have benefited of the geographically central position and the quality of road and rail infrastructures, which make the Madrid region the most accessible in the Iberian Peninsula and location of choice for many European companies.
The Arnaud cargo terminal's privileged position in Spain allows speedy transport - in less than 8 hours - of goods for any destination in Portugal or Spain.

Our position ensure easy access to Barajas Airport, one of the biggest air hubs in Europe, handling more than half of the air cargo that passes through Spain. An outbound gateway for any region in the world.
